In 1966, my favorite non-comics magazine was JACK AND JILL. In those days there were lots of magazine choices for children that combined fun and crafts with art and education. Our school library had many of them and my parents would pick an issue up from time to time but this was the only one that my parents bought me regularly. Before I could read, they read it to me. Later, it helped me want to learn to read. I loved JACK AND JILL!
